I don’t care what people do and how they live as long as it doesn’t hurt themselves or others and I will champion a cause if it makes their life better. It makes life better for everyone, in the end.

I don’t like dishonesty, though. A person’s ideas or their self that aren’t revealed in their fullness to the person they’re seeking as “other” can fuck up other people’s lives, even if that’s not the intention. I’m not talking about the usual kind of lies, such as coloring your past a little bit, lying on a resume, etc., but life altering deception. A person should have the right to simply walk away.

To say otherwise is to engage in what’s going on right now on the internet. Total outrage where another person’s intent is distorted, and the reaction likewise.
