From hearing Lefties speak about terrorism on NPR, they all believe Islamist terrorism is identical to Irish IRA terrorism. They have a “We handled the IRA, we’ll handle al Queda” attitude. They completely dismiss the fact that the religions and worldviews of the IRA and Islamist terrorists are completely different. In their minds, religion (which is the ideology through which people see the world, and the most important motivator of all) cannot possibly be a motivator for terrorists; it’s just impossible.
