It’s only about authoritarian conservatism in the House. Thus, fiscal conservatism comes with a huge price. People end up electing overwhelmingly judgmental, moralizing, Bible thumping, authoritarian Republicans. And that’s how they spend the majority of their time. Because even their fiscal decision are laced with the usual church lady bullshit.

Whenever I’ve met a so-called fiscal conservative, they haven’t ever been able to explain to me what that means to them, and there is usually some church lady bullshit at the bottom of it. (Or glibertarian craziness)
