Among the single greatest threats to our civilization (including the Black Swans of which we have no knowledge at this time) is our inability to get along with one another - and of which these and other threads are the proof - if any were needed. That’s the root cause, and one doesn’t have to be a scientist to understand it.

yes…. in that i see what you are referring to. And no… is does have to be this way. we are better than that, aren’t we?
