re: #715 iceweasel

Will read it; look forward to discussing it with you.

BTW, Ayers is a douchebag who has inexplicably avoided prison, but I don’t see his actions from practically 40 years ago influencing Obama. Ayers is pretty roundly loathed on the left, you know, for the damage he did to the responsible anti-war movement during Vietnam. As well as apparently just being a jerk.

I don’t find anything sinister about Obama working with Ayers on some education issues. Like it or not, he’s now a college professor who’s been working on those issues in Chicago. And i don’t think Ayers or Wright should even be a topic of discussion anymore. If Ayers were still making bombs and such, it would be a different story.

I need to go eat, but I’m sure we’ll take this up down the road. :)
Cheers,

He was pictured standing on an American flag as recently as 2001. He has no remorse for his actions in the 60s and finds his efforts to have been completely justified. That’s where the worry comes from Obama having his head up this guy’s butt for so long.

The lefties love this guy. They make excuses for him all the time. They are appalled that anyone would criticize him. He gets the “poor me” articles. I’ve never seen anyone complain about the Weather Underground distracting from their “legitimate” protests. And now that one of his BFFs has been elected to the highest office in the land, they’re making even more excuses for him. He may not get invited to the White House, but his past actions are downplayed and whitewashed by the MSM and the dems.
