Israel seized Gaza from Egypt in the Six Day War in 1967, following Egypt’s moving an army into the Sinai. Look it up, the tank battles make for great reading and you’ll be in awe of what the IDF was able to overcome in that war.

It is moments like that in history when one learns to never underestimate the capability of the Jewish people. The way they prosecuted that war was awesome.
