I get it, but Benghazi stems from two things:

1. McCain cannot abide the idea of not acting. To him, even if the fighter to be sent would have had a 1-way trip it should have been sent, should have bombed the terrorist mortar position, and then ditched in the Med.

If McCain actually believed that, we could have him diagnosed as clinically insane.

The fact that he and Graham skipped a briefing on Benghazi in order to hold a press conference demanding information on Benghazi kinda points in that direction already.
