I never understood the MRA mindset; I didn’t even run into it until last year on the Internet. I don’t think I ever met such a person (who admitted it openly at least).

It never struck me as a way to treat others, men or women. It never occurred to me that women would like to be treated like dirt. Must be that beta thing in me, being raised in a family of all women since I was a teenager. Turned me into a beta that respects all people, not just those with appendages hanging out. Pesky empathy thing, no wonder no women like me (wait, that’s not so).

I think the MRA thing is relatively new. It’s a bunch of insecure assholes who can’t handle that women have progressed a lot and their response is to whine and also some horrible shit like harassment and rape apologia.
