I think “groveling” refers to peasants approaching the feudal lord crawling on their hands and knees with their face on the ground. That is not what Fuckface Von Clownstick was doing when he “imitated” Serge Kovalevski.

He says he was not mocking Kovalevski’s disability, therefore it is unfair and unpatriotic to report anything else.
