I think, if the Evangelical Republicans were truly honest with themselves for more than 5 seconds, they would admit that they don’t believe a word of Trump’s bullshit or that he is a pious and righteous man. I literally think that the only reason they are carrying on in such fashion is because they are allowing themselves to be swept along with the derp tide, because it’s easier than thinking and introspecting.
