And of course - the type of thing shown in this video is exactly what makes this Cardinal’s statement so completely and mind-numbingly stupid and atrocious.

If the Catholic church is truly concerned about members who no longer go to Mass or who convert to other religions, they need to understand that the “lapsed Catholic” phenomenon has to do less with strict requirements regarding birth control and other issues, and more to do with the lack of logic and the denial of truth espoused by the likes of Cardinal Martino.
