my gold is worth almost five times what I paid for it…I didn’t buy it to trade for food, just investing against the future…this gold thing has gone too far, there is no apocalyptic aspect to it…it’s just a nice investment

Do you know what bugs me? When jewelry salesmen describe an engagement ring as an “investment”. You sell investments. Engagement rings are supposed to stay on one hand for decades. For that matter, any jilted fiance can tell you that the minute you walk out of the store, that ring just lost value.

Heirloom, now that I can handle. Lots of women are wearing rings worn by another woman first.
