Oh yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to that. Then again, I’ve been looking forward to a new SimCity since SimCity 4. Not that Societies was bad, but it just didn’t feel like a true SimCity game.

I think the sandbox/sim genre is way underrated. Game developers are in love with their own generic plots and story telling. Open world freepay is the future of gaming. Imagine if Bioshock or GTA was an open world sim. I don’t mind closed world puzzles if done right. Portal is a great example, just a little originality is all it takes.
