Is Chuck checking the baud rates? Everyone knows that low baud rates can cause connection loss and dropped data.

Did he check to make sure that he updated to the latest version of JavaTM?

Has he upgraded past Windows 3.11?

Does he have Intel inside?TM

Has he let his BBS know that he’s losing connections?

They need to make sure the serial port is set to 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit with hardware flow control.
