We have a wire and plastic tree. They can’t eat it.

I have convinced him that we should do that for years when we are not traveling but we have not found the right artificial tree yet. Given that we are home this year, we went and did a cut-your-own on Friday.

That’s the compromise between me being pro-artificial and him being pro-live.
