From what I’m reading the Kennedy-Schumer law has its origins protecting Native Americans who use Peyote in ceremonies. That’s very different than I’m a businessman who happens to believe gay people are immoral and I should be able to discriminate against them because of that. Now if we were actually criminalizing membership in a church that believes homosexuality is sinful, they’d have an argument but shocker we don/t We even have pastors that believe in the death penalty for gay people that campaign with Presidential candidates.But yeah so hard being a conservative Christian in Obama’s America. //
