It’s very reminiscent of the Peter David version of Aquaman. It’s competently made and passes the time well. But it’s not quite as gonzo fun or witty as Thor: Ragnorak and not as resonant as Black Panther.

As long as it’s not as godawful as Batman v. Superman (and I like Affleck and Cavill in their respective roles, though Cavil’s Superman pales in comparison to Christopher Reeves’), that’s a big plus.
