I’ve noticed it’s so often Republicans who, when the subject of the EC being abolished comes up, immediately starts hollering “REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY!” and whining about how if it went to the popular vote that presidential candidates would just avoid rural voters…which they already do, but let’s not let facts get in the way.
