There was a politician character in the Pogo comic strip who spoke only in a circus/19th century poster font. I’m thinking that or that Art Deco face that’s used for the Bioshock logo.

P. T. Bridgeport was the circus guy.

The Deacon was the Goth.

Pogo was the greatest comic strip of the 20th Century in my opinion.
