A few years back, we took the kids to a botanical garden. We were watching the pond and the kids were laughing, watching the ducks and swans swim by. The kids saw some ducklings and were going over for a look when a swan went apeshit and murdered a duckling right in front of us and then throw the body on shore at us.

That was fun explaining to the kids.
