I said the other day to someone if we pulled, like, 2% off of the military budget, we could probably provide education and healthcare to everyone. Like a normal Western industrialized nation.

I pulled that number out of my exhaust port, but I’m willing to bet we could shave some money from the military, and still have enough cash to take care of our own citizens, as well as destroy the world seven time over.

One Tomahawk cruise missile costs $1.8 million. I did the math, at an average salary of $55K per year, that would hire around 30 teachers for a year.

We launched around 90 cruise missiles at Syria last week.
