nuclear reactors aren’t evil, they are just another example of energy that seems cheap up front but comes with a lot of built-in downstream costs

Actually they seem really, really expensive up front, very cheap to run and quite expensive to get rid of (quite a lot of getting rid of them is just leaving the buggers alone to “cool down”).
