My family too, although this year a Florida clinic let my daughter donate bone marrow/stem cells. We might have aged out of the quarantine.

They’re now saying that the incubation period of prion diseases like CJD might be 30-50 years. So I’m not sure I’ll be able to give blood before I get old enough to start needing blood transfusions myself.
