Yes they do. As others have noted, if Bachmann and Palin had looked like Golda Meier and Carrie Nation the two women would not have made it anywhere close to the national stage.

(to the RWNJ: sure, guys, you can name attractive Republican females of note, but can you name any ugly ones? Physically unattractive, even?)
