I hope not. A major part of the issue is that the hogs (like deer) are moving into suburban environments since those are more convenient food supplies. A bunch of trigger-happy hunters with houses all around? I’ll pass.

And note that it’s been a rural issue for quite a while, but not is getting more headlines now that it is hitting places with higher population densities.

They might want to talk to the Germans. If I recall correctly there is a known boar issue in places such as Berlin due to all the parks there.

With all the droughts, you’ve got to figure the boars are just heading to the food and water.
