Note the timing of the Greensboro incident—the same year he would have been “retired” from the military with his 20 yrs in. I’m wondering, also, if he was receiving a VA disability payment? With 5 kids to support over the years, he had to have a steady income of some sort and other than the mention of his driving a truck, I don’t see a pattern of regular employment.

I see a defense in the making.
