So many of my liberal friends today are worried about Trump winning the GOP nomination for some reason. The big orange turd doesn’t have a chance in the general election against Hillary or Sanders. Trump winning the GOP nomination means certain GOP defeat and 1-2 Supreme Court picks for a Dem president. What the hell.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you. If Trump does get the nomination, I get the feeling that his footsoldiers will be out en masse come election season in a full-throttle voter intimidation effort to make sure that non-whites don’t show up at polling places, and if they do, prevent them from going into the voting booths. It will be a scenario that we haven’t seen since the early 1960s.
