Seems unusual for present-day terrorism, unless we’re talking old-school IRA or Euro-terrorists (the Baader-Meinhof Gang, the RZ, etc.); making a getaway like that is, shall we say, not in the typical style of the most recent terrorist attacks that have taken place in Europe (notwithstanding the NZ attack).

Is this a RW-type of terrorist attack? Then sure, the hit and run aspect would make sense as that seems to be more their style. But ISIS-inspired terrorists usually seek “martyrdom” (IOW, suicide by cop or blowing themselves up or something) as the finalé for their attacks.

In any event, hopefully, we’ll know more soon.
