Is Django supposed to be a Civil War era version of Inglourious Basterds?

I saw on the web awhile back a really well done fake poster for “Inglourious Basterds 2”, with the setting being the Cold War.

The tag line: “In Soviet Russia, Basterds kill you!”

I think it could be awesome if it were ever made.
