Maybe the purpose of the tea parties is to let our elected reps know that, yes, there is some sh*t that we will not eat.

It seems fairly simple. Wasn’t the purpose of our country’s original tea party in Boston Harbor to show the same thing? And that would be, we’re not going to swallow this.

Well, no, that wasn’t the purpose. The purpose was to live under a government where they had representation in the first place, so they could participate through their representatives in how their tax money was allocated, and how taxes were allocated.
