I should probably do a better job of defining my terms. By professional I mean level of training, experience, and command & control. I’m not trying to rank who would win against whom.

I love our Canadian neighbors. I’m not hating on them and I appreciate every ally we have (that enough qualifiers?//) but their military spending is so small I’m not sure they’re really big enough to consider.

But wait. You said training, experience, and C&C, all of which the Canadians have. Your criteria for Canada was their military spending.

In 2009, Canada spent ~US$20.5B. Israel spent ~US$14.3B. (SIPRI numbers, 2008 dollars. Gotta pay to see the root, but this part’s repeated in wikipedia.

In other words, your argument doesn’t make sense.
