To think, there was a time I actually liked her. That was before she opened her big fat mouth and stuck her foot in it.

She lost me at “We grow good people in our small towns, with honesty, sincerity and dignity.” I grew up in a small town, and people there are at least as venal, petty, mendacious, insincere, and coarse as they are anywhere else. I despise the idea that Small Town America is the REAL America. America IS who Americans ARE. “Real American” exists wherever Americans live, and here’s a hearty ‘FUCK YOU!’ to those who would ignore the majority of Americans to pander to the vanity of Small Town America fetishists.
