I’m guessing liberal hippie doesn’t fit their idea of “ordinary Nebraskan” as depicted in the article.

Coen Brothers views of “ordinary” anything is probably unlike true ordinary. Plus, y’know, such a sparsely populated place, it’s probably already a struggle to find enough extras. Especially with clothes from 1960’s patterns that could be made to look like hand-me-downs.

Decent money, plus they’ll probably have a good lunch.
