It’s on the Utah/Arizona border, that’s why.
Freedom for men, bondage for women, sexual slavery for little girls and forced labor for little boys. This is probably seen by many republicans as pure Americana that must not be disturbed by the Jackbooted Thugs of their fever-dreams. I also imagine that many male republicans are rather envious of the community’s leaders.
