What excuse could they have? She started it? In Minnesota, that is not an excuse for a man to assault a woman. The only time I would be acquitted by a jury for striking a woman is if she had a gun or was holding a knife to my throat. In just about any other circumstance, I’m convicted, because the presumption is that a man of my size should be able to intimidate most women and, thus, should not have to resort to force to resolve a situation.
