Yay! A friend texted me yesterday that NBC is bringing back the original L&O. Given that so many “ripped from the headline” stories cannot fit into an SVU narrative, this is a reason for celebration. Yes — Gabby Petito will show up on SVU, but others, such as variations on the Jan 6 insurrection, belong more naturally to a different program.
