For the first time in my life, I thought it important to send an e-mail to President Bush, thanking him for his service and telling him to hurry home here to Texas. The grief he endured from BDS afflicted leftists seemed to roll off his back, and for that I am grateful.

My wife said, you really can’t understand President Bush unless you’ve had a chance to get to know Texans. She pointed out that men in Texas are tough, honest, chivalrous, and dedicated. She’s right, and President Bush is all these things.
