The “2 lb” thing is a red herring. Must be a typo or something. The scandal is that there is absolutely no “stimulus” included in the “summary” that we’ve been given. Even a “projected results” thing in terms of jobs, foreclosures avoided, or whatever measures they so readily whip out when decrying the lack of money, would be helpful.
Most of us suspected that the Stimulus was simply a budget-busting money grab, but the sad fact that they don’t even pay lip service to improving the economy anymore is depressing. They’re just emptying the checkbook, with no thought for the future.
