Has anybody else been watching “Sonic Highways”, the Foo Fighters’ HBO show hitting one city per episode to talk about their music history?

I enjoyed the Chicago ep, was less pleased with the Washington DC ep, and extremely irritated when I looked up the schedule to see there’s no Detroit, Philadelphia or San Francisco episodes. How on earth does anybody think DC outranks any of those cities for music history? (upcoming eps are Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and New Orleans).

Grohl spent part of his teens in the VA area around DC, so it’s a second home to him. He cites some of the DC clubs as early influences.
