Sure that is the next failure. But failed oversight should not be confused with the initial bad or criminal policies. But we may or may not want to blame the cops for every crime wave. But that exactly is what politics does.

I blame political philosophies in the macro sense. I just get this idea that the GOP is not really that interested in financial oversight over the long term.
