Fascinating, I really enjoyed those machines. Most of the dozen or so I saw were turn of the century. They have, of course, been replaced by the modern ‘fruit machines’ which take a pound coin.

What was most interesting about those Victorian wall games was most of them were totally mechanical. They had all sorts of interesting game features that needed no electricity or battery power.
