Uh, yep. As our experience in Iraq has shown, there’s no such thing as a non-combat role. It’s the military, and there’s no way to make it not the military.

The ‘non-combat’ thing is a fiction to assuage the minds of those like yours. Kind of a simplistic one; I’m always surprised it works.

US Military Comabat Arms MOS’s are not open to women.
