We frequently have aircraft carriers “in the Middle East.” That is nothing particularly new or different.

I’m not saying we’re fucked because of the carrier group, or even the bomber task force and rhetoric. I’m saying we’re fucked because of the absurd credulousness of the press as exemplified by ABC in that article. They’ve learned absolutely nothing from Iraq and are ready to stenograph us into another bullshit war because ratings equals money.
