We can only hope that young voters will be galvanized by the closure of all abortion clinics in half the country to turn out, preserve the House majority, and elect new Democratic Senators willing to break the filibuster. It seems unlikely, but the Court has never stripped a constitutional right away from the American people before, so its an unprecedented situation. If the midterms go to form, however, abortion is going to be an issue that splits the nation between free states and Handmaid states, much like the slavery issue did, for many years to come.

The Roberts Court has repeatedly stripped voting rights from many Americans and the response among most was a total lack of interest. If it doesn’t affect them personally, most Americans don’t care.
