Romney won’t release tax return if he’s GOP nomination

I wasn’t aware it was voluntary.

Nixon did it first because of some allegations. Eisenhower was furious with him (Nixon was the VP nominee) because the Eisenhowers had gotten in the habit of being stingy with their donations while in the military, and he didn’t want to show his tax returns.

I don’t think Kerry did it, either.
