So, uh, Sgt. Crowley kept his back to Gates the entire time?

The Cambridge PD officers don’t wear nametags - like every single other PD in the nation?

They do wear nametags, every single picture of uniformed officers that the Cambridge PD has online shows their officers in their street unifroms and their dress uniforms all wearing a very large nametag above their right chest pocket.

“Professor” Gates didn’t need (or have the right) to demand anything from Sgt Crowley because the information he was demanding was already part of the paperwork covering the initial 911 possible break-in call. He could have politely requested a copy of that paperwork, or demanded such through his lawyer at a later date.

“Professor” Gates pulled the race card first, and then he and his professional race-baiting cronies played it over and over again for the medias benefit. They played that card all the way to the White House, because it’s the only card in their deck.

The Great Big Zero should not have commented about it, at all. It’s way way below his pay grade and he’s got more important things that he should be commenting on. Like answering why US troops in Afghanistan aren’t getting their mail.
