When Trump was elected Josh Barro made a big show of being disgusted with the right. He’s been drifting back ever since. He’s an asshole who had a few qualms about being an asshole, but he’ll soon be all the way Trump worship.

That’s the path most right wing anti-Trumpers have taken.

At the end of the day, Trump is simply the fulfillment of all the wonderful promises of US conservatism, and right wingers can’t really repudiate him without rejecting their own movement.
