It’s funny - I say the same thing to guitarists who look at the pedal steel and can’t figure out how anyone can get anything musical out of it. :)

I look at the harp and it just looks… daunting.

You learn to make friends with each string.

After awhile, it really feels like the music is lurking or hiding somewhere in the instrument, and your job is to gently coax it out.
