Considering the damned case was funded by Peter Thiel and likely just a means to ending Gawker (regardless of why was right or wrong) just makes the whole thing sour to me. And now the good parts of Gawker like Deadspin, Jezebel, and Jalopnik are in limbo.

Hopefully a left-minded person comes in, buys them up, and keeps the family alive. I really like Deadspin….in addition to many of the other members.
