I would like to see a law in the US Congress passed that would bar US Researchers from announcing any remote discoveries of archaeological sites in Saudi Arabia. People are now finding sites on Google Earth and other means. I think the best way to preserve these for the future is to prevent this information from becoming public.

That would be constitutionally problematic.
